The virtual seminar will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. (E.T.)

A key challenge for Iran's new President, Ebrahim Raisi, will be the talks with the United States and other countries on the future of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Iranian and US officials are becoming increasingly pessimistic about reviving the Iran nuclear deal as the US seeks to force Iran to accept follow-on talks on regional and missile issues as a condition for agreement while Iran is not willing to talk about them since the US withdrew from the JCPOA and refuses to give guarantees that it will not do so again. The seminar will discuss the current dilemmas and whether there is a way out.
